ABOUT ME

Ben Hartwell is a dynamic, professional guitarist from the U.K., known for his powerhouse performances and diverse skill set. With over 25 years of live experience, Ben has shared the stage and worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Leo Rossi (Fleetwood Mac), Jessie Smith (Strictly Come Dancing & The Classic Rock Show), Nathan James (Inglorious), Ben Mills (X-Factor), and Brett Cave (The Elton John Experience). He was also headhunted to be the guitar player for Explora Journey’s Explora I, where he performed as a headline artist, delivering unforgettable performances on a state of the art stage.

Starting at just 7 years old, Ben’s passion for music ignited when he first picked up the guitar, and by 8, he was already performing live. From that moment, the stage became his second home. Fast forward to today, and he’s a full-time touring musician, playing hundreds of shows a year to crowds of all sizes—whether it’s rocking out in front of thousands, or delivering intimate performances to industry VIPs.

Ben’s reputation shines brightest in live settings. His versatility spans all musical genres—from acoustic singer/songwriter performances to ripping guitar solos. This adaptability has earned him a reputation for delivering high-energy, precise performances in any musical environment. From arenas and cruise ships to club gigs and rooftop stages, Ben’s vast performance experience is second to none.

In the studio, Ben is just as skilled. He writes and records across a variety of genres, always ensuring that his guitar work serves the song. His attention to detail and musical ear have made him a go-to for artists and producers alike. Recording sessions are, in his words, “addictively enjoyable.”
